Pakistan Day

Pakistan Independence Day (Jashn-e-Azadi) is celebrated annually on August 14 1947. It marks the country’s freedom from British rule in 1947 and the creation of a sovereign homeland for Muslims of the Indian subcontinent, following the Pakistan Movement led by Muhammad Ali Jinnah. [1, 2, 3, 4]
